Hamilton County Commissioner’s Town Hall

We are Invited:

Hamilton County Commissioner’s town hall, hosted by a number of grass roots organizations: One Vote Election Project, Tennessee Democracy Network, Hamilton County Commission Citizens Engagement, the Chattanooga Area Central Labor Council, Jobs With Justice East Tennessee, Public School Strong, and CALEB.

When: March 26th, 6:00 pm

Where: RISE Chattanooga, 2901 Taylor Street

What: County Commissioners have been invited to a community town hall to share with constituents:

  • What the Hamilton County Commission does

  • What their roles and responsibilities as commissioners are

  • Information around the 2027 County Budget process 

The Hamilton County Commission makes important decisions, especially around the budget process that impacts our education system, the sheriff’s office, our public health infrastructure and more. We are all invited to participate in a community conversation with Hamilton County Commissioners about 2027 budget priorities. They also plan to hold space for district specific break out groups, where community members can discuss district specific issues and budget priorities for 2027.
